The location is off the beaten track, secluded and very private. Basic but suitable furniture proved to be well thought off and more than enough to provide comfort. It is a wonderful feeling to wake up near a rumbling stream.

Everything! Ruth was friendly as she welcomed us after a last-minute booking due to walking out of our previously booked property. Ruth even went to get us a yummy cream tea. The location was peaceful and great for visiting family nearby. Everything was clean and well presented. We loved the decked area that was secure for our dog. We'll definitely very returning. Thank you! 😊

I stayed with my daughter and her two young children in a lovely spacious static “caravan” with all necessary facilities: a comfortable living room, shower room and reasonably well equipped kitchen. We had sea views and easy access to a sandy, “life-guarded” beach within walking distance. It was nice that there were three bedrooms and single beds instead of bunk beds and plenty of storage. The master bedroom with double bed and ensuite was particularly spacious and comfortable. On site a large entertainment centre, swimming pool, and various outdoor activities and play parks mean that all ages and interests are catered for. We were fortunate to have a parking space next to the “van” and we liked having a surrounding verandah with a security gate, to allow the children some freedom. We enjoyed taking the open top bus from the site to the sandy beach in Exmouth without the hassle of driving and parking the car. Exmouth offered many more activities, but we didn’t have enough time to explore everything.

The lodges at Old Walls were all very comfortable and came with everything we needed. The views across the yineyard and surrounding hills were amazing. The staff were lovely.

Big property for large groups with 3 bedrooms all with bunk beds. Large, well equipped kitchen, big dining table with benches. Great for dogs, very close to the beach and 30 minutes drive to Exeter. We had a great time
