Greg was a great host with amazing knowledge of local ski resorts, restaurants and general questions regarding Hakuba. The car is an elite bonus! The house was beautifully kept and had all essential items.

The staff in the hotel is amazing. Guys were super helpful, they gave me rides few times, recommended some places. And in general they were talkative, which was very nice. I traveled alone, and I was happy to chat with them.

Everything! We felt at home and we loved it. Such a beautiful place with great service and great people. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and very cozy. (the pillow is hard, might no suit people that like soft pillow) the location is incredible, plus the fact that the best restaurant in Hakuba is right there in the hotel, made everything even more amazing. Onsen + Canada Tei in our hotel was the best combo for after the whole day skiing.

We did not eat there but Yoriko brought us fresh strawberries one day after skiing. The location was very near the Tsugaike Ski Resort but a bit away from the other resorts in Hakuba Valley. We had a car but the bus service appears to be excellent. The in-house onsen (natural hot bath) was amazing. The hostess, Yorkiko, was very sweet and accommodating.

Hakuba Cottage Gram, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Hakuba, 7.2 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, 44 km from Nagano Station, as well as 46 km from Zenkoji Temple.

Staying at Cottage Gram was a big highlight of our trip. Satoshi, Atsuko and Midori (who live next door) were so accommodating, offering to drive us around and book local restaurants etc. when we were not on the slopes. Really great location, about a 10 min walk from the nearest (+biggest) ski resort in Hakuba, Happo-one. The cottage itself is like something from a storybook, very very clean, extremely warm and young kids can have hours of fun playing in the snow or even sledding! Separate bedrooms and living/dining area too, and great kitchen if you decide to cook a few meals. Altogether can’t rate this place high enough 😊

Very good location, we slided into the slope. I have ski and snowboard, it's very convenient to change gear in a day. They also have projector, We can relax in evening. The host is very nice and helpful, we would like to repeat if available.
