Perfect location in a lush exotic garden. Few meters away you can admire rice field and views of Lion's rock and Pidurangala. Delicious local breakfast. Friendly and helpful owner that organized an airport transfer, as well as ride to our next locations and rides to main turist attractions. Huge and comfy beds.

Nimsara and his family are all wonderful people. They received me with tea even though I arrived pretty late in the evening. They will help you arrange anything you might want to do there. The breakfast was also delicious throughout my stay. The room is very clean and it was the best bathroom I had during my stay in Sri Lanka

Great location, within walking distance of Sigiriya/Lion Rock. Reachable from Dambulla either via bus or tuk tuk. The lodge has a sublime natural vibe, whilst still maintaining great amenities and neatness standards. Most importantly, the host was eager to assist with a multitude of additional activities available in the region - elephant safaris, massages, cooking classes and village tours, to name a few. Breakfast was also amazing, prepared on site using traditional means and recipes. Would recommend to anyone!

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

We booked 3 nights ended up staying for 6 nights nights in the accommodation and then came back a second time because it was so great! The small house with its many windows is simply very special. Starting with the furnishings, the cleanliness and the view. The family there, who are incredibly welcoming, genuinely good people as a bonus they prepare the best authentic home cooked food. As former farmers they take pride in there vegetable garden and are happy to show you what you are eating from garden to table.It's an amazing place to relax, surrounded by nature with the lake and the view of sigiriya. We can only recommend everyone to stay here. We will definitely come back as soon as we can. What you get for your money here is unimaginable elsewhere.

We spent wonderful time in this hotel, nature and wilderness is all over you. It is located in beautiful garden with small beautiful lake blooming with flowers, and river on the other side. It is not easy to get there but definitely worth it , one time we saw elephants crossing the road, you live on a tree your room have no walls only bed is covered with mosquitoes net. If you look up you will see monkeys and beautiful birds. If that was not enough you will meet most wonderful kind staff , they will Help you with everything , they are very modest,kind people. You will find there food that is just amazing !!!!! It was the best food we had in Sri Lanka :) go there for a taste of paradise

This stay really was incredible. The family was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the first second we arrived. The accommodation is brand new, very spacious and has everything you need. It was so relaxing to sit on the terrace listening to the orchestra of birds while looking out over the field with a beautiful view of Lion's Rock. The son speaks great English and is ready to help you with anything and everything. The mother of the family was also a great cook, we had dinner there and it was one of the best Sri Lankan foods that we had during our whole trip. If you have the chance to book this, do not hesitate!! It will be hard to ever get another chance to stay at such a fantastic location, with such great people.
