Hattvika Lodge has done an excellent job with the photos here on booking.com and in their social media https://www.instagram.com/hattvikalodge/. So yes, it is indeed as amazing as it looks!! I ll write here what you maybe do not see in the photos, which is how friendly and accommodating the staff is!!! The Slovakian girl we were welcomed by when we checked in (unfortunately I dont remember her name) was so friendly and helpful actively showing us e.g. apps with northern lights radar etc. And then during breakfast we were approached by Roland who is organising the outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with him and learnt a lot about the place and habits. He gave us tips about where to drive, what to see etc. I full regret not having booked a kayak tour or something but for sure we will do so next time. We will come back to Lofoten both in winter and in the summer and we will look no further for our accomodation that Hattvike Lodge.

Owners are just super nice amd helpful people! Location was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Spacious bathroom with heated floor. Everything was clean and nicely furnished… and the view! Open Netflix account on TV was a pleasant addition to our stay.

Jason the owner and his partner were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful, and a very dry sense of humour. The cabin was excellent value and incredible Aurora Borealis on full display in a picturesque spot.

Beautiful quiet and fully equipped cabin with fantastic view to the bay. Great location to explore the whole of Lofoten. Very pleasant and helpful communication with the owner. We‘ll be back soon!
