All the surrounding grounds are really impressive! Very calming place. It has lovely fresh watering swimming holes to have a dip in, private bath looking out to the bush and has a spa pool and firepit. The hosts were great and welcoming. Breakfast was great, all homemade from the bread, honey and jam. The studio room and bathroom was lovely, clean and comfortable. Thank you just what we needed and we will definitely be coming back. The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, breakfast was excellent with home made bread, jams and homey. Nothing too much trouble for our lovely host Debbie and we thoroughly enjoyed the forest trails and quirky facilities, especially the outdoor bath! Our only regret is only staying for two nights with so much to do and see in the area. We thoroughly recommend the lodge as a great location for exploring Coromondel.Guest review byMarkYoung couple
