There is a pond, firepit, playground for kids. The room was clean and ready to go for us. We didn't find the hot tub to use, but it probably would have been great. A quick drive to restaurants, markets and The Stanley Hotel (The Shining). We came home from dinner and a herd of elk (approximately 25) were grazing on the lawn of the lodge.
