Everything, such an amazing experience. Already on the way to the lodge we saw zebras and then from the small reception hut we saw more animals, e.g. giraffes in the distance, amazing! Our house was lovely and had everything you needed. Also Audrey was the best and helped us with everything we needed and always went the extra mile

We had an exceptional stay at Halali. Our room and en suite were much bigger than we anticipated. Beautiful, clean, luxurious. It had excellent air con that kept us cool even on extremely hot days and nights. The pics we saw beforehand didn't do it justice, it exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were superb as were our suppers. The chef was very welcoming and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate tricky allergies. All of the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Peter, the manager, is quite likely the best host we've ever had. He even came out late one night to check on our lights, and warn us of a potential storm. We had a great game drive. Saw so much, and for the very first time saw Golden Wildebeest, which are very rare.

The Abendruhe Lodge is a short drive from the Dinokeng Gate. It feels very private and peaceful. Beautiful views from the balcony, with many animals around. The lodge is clean, beds are comfortable and has everything you will need. Thank you to the owners for showing us around the property. We had a wonderful game drive with Günter, he is very knowledgeable and he gave us the best experience to explore the Dinokeng Game Reserve.

From picking up from the airport, arranging game drives, bush walks, hiking day out, coddling baby lions at Misty Monkeys, shopping at local shops, trying cinnamon pancakes with sweet coffee with condense milk! to bespoke food at the lodge's restaurant and glass of tasteful red wine by the fire under starry night sky was more then we could wish for our trip! Our tent was spacious, comfortable, with private toilet, shower and bathtub! There was kettle, tea and coffee as well as water and fresh milk every day. We had a table and chairs on our little terrace where we could enjoy our morning coffee. The heated blanket saved us from cooler nights what made our stay even more comfy. The facility has great potential being just 40min from Pretoria. Restaurant with amazing food, bar and fire pit for cooler evenings and cosy chats with glass of good South African wine! We saw different animals and birds every day around the Lodge and in the night could hear hyenas and lions roar.

There wasn’t a fault, everything was done so well and looked so beautiful. We loved the layout of our room, all facilities were modern and well kept and we can’t get over the 10/10 service.
