The room although facing the main road and train line was quiet. It was fascinating to watch the 100/200 carriage goods train slowly pass on the way to Vancouver or Edmonton. The position was great and easy walk down the main street to grocery market and restaurants. Staff were excellent and able to supply paper bowls and plates and plastic cutlery for in room breakfast. WiFi was good and easy to log on
The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean.

The location is amazing! It was wonderful sitting out on the deck late afternoon, overlooking all the mountains - just breath-taking (although the insects were a bit over the top). Dinner was superb, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I was originally disappointed that we couldn't find accommodation in Jasper, but am now glad as we would have missed out on the Overlander Mountain Lodge!
A beautiful location and the lodges looked very attractive. The drive through Jasper National Park to the Lodge was superb.
There are three good things: the staff (very friendly and helpful 10/10, location and food). Small lodges are old and have got bad acoustics (thin walls). Usually I avoid such places, but thanks to professional staff and very good food I can recommend to stay there during visiting the Jasper National Park.
The grounds were huge with elk and geese wandering around. The reception and bar area were very rustic. Downstairs there are shops and an Italian restaurant used for breakfast. The rooms are in lodges around the park. Ours was an upstairs room overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The room itself was huge, a big four poster bed, lounge area and large bathroom. However it did feel very outdated and in need of an overhaul, it was rather tired.
Well positioned lodges in a peaceful location. Very clean and fittings and fixtures were very good and well maintained. A big bonus was having the brewery and eating facilities on site.
