Best stay we had in Chile by far! You can just feel that Francisco and his wife really put their blood, sweat and tears into building this dream into a reality. Wonderful cabañas on an extraordinary piece of land with the best views you could wish for. They pay attention to the little details! From the design of all the panel and flyers to the small bird logo road sign near the gate. A lot of thought went into designing the whole experience - we should have stayed longer.

Cala Meli was a lovely hidden gem just outside Puerto Varas with easy access to the town and also many of the sites nearby, such as Petrohue Falls and the Osorno Volcano. We stayed 7 nights and the cabana was perfect in every way, from its well thought-out décor to the fully functional galley kitchen and having laundry service on-site. Not to be missed is the lovely and abundant breakfast basket delivered to your cabana. Yanela and all the staff were so kind and responsive! Highly recommend if you want a quiet, cozy place with its own beach that includes beautiful lake views and a hot tub on the deck!

Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with river views. Everything! This place is “heart and soul”! Built by your host, Renzo, he has created a place of calm that stress just falls away! Each can in has its own “forrest” and hot tub! The cabins are simple and all different having used the nature around to build them. The best of all is your host Renzo! He too is all heart and soul and his hospitality and help is endless. What a gem! A gem of a place, a gem of a host! We’ll miss him very much.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I want to thank Pamela for the hospitality, my friends and I felt like at home. Pamela is kind, interesting in communication person, she recommended us a really delicious place to have dinner in the city (I recommend you ask too!). After visiting the oceanfront park, we returned for another night. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent, there is plenty of space on the veranda to enjoy the view of the bay and the city. Basic but excellent breakfast, fast internet. And if you love cats and dogs, you will definitely like this place. It's not a problem at all that the house is far from the city center — public transport runs often and is cheap. I recommend this place with all my heart! That's what we needed to rest between hiking and moving between cities.

A children's playground is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Cute cabin with a wood stove for heating. The wood stove worked very well and wood was restocked in the cabin each day. Beds are super cozy with lots of blankets to keep you warm. Great views of the bay. Enjoyed viewing the birds and the bay upon waking each morning. Great hot water shower without waiting for water to heat up. Need a car to get to this location but it is only a short drive to Castro. Nice and quiet area. Would have stayed here longer had my itinerary allowed.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The location, the rooms (huts) and the facilities are just amazing. The staff is super friendly, caring, and have a lot of knowledge onthe surroundings - and the food we had at Peuma lodge (both breakfast and dinner) far exceeded our expectations and was the best food we had on our one month trip in the area

The grounds are well tended and beautifully landscaped with flowers and areas to entertain children.
