Great surroundings - basically full jungle experience in the hotel) iguanas and other animals round you. Perk is boat shuttle (1 min) to airstrip and beach.

Breakfast is included in rate and is also served a la carte. off the beaten track (1.6km from town) but a great hotel, nice facilities and the garden tour was incredible. the rooms are nice and spacious and the hammock is really comfortable. breakfast was great (they even made us package to take away) and dinner was good too. overall a great experience!

The restaurant at All Rankins Lodge is open from 06:00 to 20:00 and is specialized in Caribbean dishes and typical local cuisine. The property also has a bar. The lodge is located between the river and the ocean, so you get the best of both worlds. The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.

Free WiFi is provided and the property is surrounded by scenic canals, flora and fauna providing amazing views. We were so pleased with Aninga lodge, it's setting is stunning, the facilities are great. We enjoyed being able to walk across to the neighbouring/sister hotel of Pachira lodge as well and walk through their forest walk to see lots of wildlife. Being in the pool and watching the monkies jump around in the trees above you was a treat. We were concerned that having to get the boat across to the town could be really inconvenient, but getting the boats across the water was actually all part of the experience that we really enjoyed. Absolutely fantastic hotel, we'd love to stay again!

Paisajes del Tortuguero is located in Tortuguero Beach, a common site for turtle hatching. Free WiFi access is available in all areas and Tortuguero National Park is 900 metres away.

Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with a bath or shower. Right on the beach. Quite rustic but property is under new management and will likely improve a lot over the coming months. Room was simple but clean and comfortable enough. Great place for budget travellers and has good potential. There's a wee Beach bar next door which was convenient!

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. A small Oasis in Tortuguero, with the sweetest staff. Good food, good bar, positive vibes. The night turtle watching trip is a very strong experience, for all family members. Remember you're in side a mangrove in a rainforest.
