So light , bright and modern. It’s lovely to see the palm trees through the shower glass ceiling. The bungalows are right on the beach. Sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. So remarkably peaceful. A private beach with no sales people allowed to bother you and a private pool for lodge users too. If you have kids, there is a larger pool and water slide further along the complex. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and is quiet and civilised and is located on the beach next to the diving centre where I learned to scuba dive. The staff here are always lovely, friendly and professional. It’s worth taking time to visit the spa where professionally trained staff offer a variety of treatments. Sit on your own little terrace, or at the restaurant and bar or on the beach. I keep returning here. I love it.

Surplombant la mer Rouge, le Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib est situé dans le port de plaisance de Port Ghalib, à Marsa Alam. Very good option in Port Ghalib. Tasty food, friendly and educated staff, not bad local alcohol. Overall service is better than in similar level hotel in Sharm-El-Sheih. WiFi works in some places of the hotel, not very fast, but allows to send photos and messages normally

L'Abu Dabbab Lodge est situé dans la région d'Abu Dabbab. Ce lodge se trouve à 30 km de l'aéroport international de Marsa Alam. It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.
