Very cozy house with a nice common kitchen. Basic lodging, but clean and friendly. The kids loved the kittens in the back yard, and were invited to pet with them by the friendly staff at the house. Back yard was used for concert in the evening the day we arrived, but was over before we got back from our excursion in the city (11pm).

We wanted a short break where we could take our large dog. As it was the first time we've taken him from home overnight we wanted somewhere quiet and out of the way. Esencia Lodge was perfect with a large fenced garden where the dog could run freely and safely. The facilities were excellent and the location was stunning. Communication from the owners was excellent too.
