With views of the surrounding countryside, we have four 4 Star Self Catering Holiday Lodges on site named after nearby mountains called Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi, Ben Vorlich and Meikle Bin. We also have a fifth Mini-Lodge on site called The Studio Mini-Lodge. I was welcomed with a birthday card, box of chocolates and a bottle of Australian wine (we are Australian). The first 5 days I had a chest infection, the owners were kind enough to grab some medical supplies for me. There is so much to do there for couples and families. The cabins are close by to see tourist attractions, close to the train station to go to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Lake of Menteith is 26 km from the lodge, while Glasgow Botanic Gardens is 30 km from the property. Glasgow Airport is 39 km away. Immaculate, clean and relaxing with some very nice little touches from the owners which wasn’t expected but extremely appreciated.

The lodge features a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette comes with a fridge, a stovetop and a toaster and there is shower with a hairdryer and slippers.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The hot tub with view to the river is lovely. Gordon and Michael gave us a nice basket of goodies which was a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette fully equipped, and the shower was nice and warm. We also went to Loch Lomond for a walk, as it is very close. 100% would go back and recommend to others.

Located in Balmaha in the Central Scotland region and Mugdock Country Park reachable within 24 km, Balmaha Lodges and Apartments provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a terrace and free private parking. Amazing last night to our week in Scotland. We only wish we could’ve stayed a few more nights. The hot tub was a refreshing reward after hiking and driving through the highlands.
