We had an amazing stay at Casa Kukama, which is located a bit outside of Iquitos in the small village of Santo Tomas. We loved the authentic Amazon experience we had together with the hosts. Pablo and Lorena were incredibly welcoming and we learned a lot from them. The lodge is very cozy.

It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Situé à Santa Clara, l'Ämak Iquitos Ecolodge - All Inclusive propose des hébergements avec pension complète et des excursions sur la rivière et la forêt tropicale. The whole experience is very well organized - from check in/ check out, transfers, experiences, meals. The stuff is very welcoming, warm, friendly and always trying to be helpful. The food was absolutely amazing! The cabañas are super comfortable and clean, the common area is very spacious and the outdoor space is a dream! Huge thanks to Julio and Mamerto for making our trip memorable.

Le Jacamar Lodge Expeditions est situé sur les rives de l'Amazone, au milieu de la jungle et à 120 km du centre-ville d'Iquitos. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

L'Amazon Muyuna Lodge est un écolodge situé dans la réserve communale de Tamshiyacu Tahuayo, sur la rive du fleuve Amazone, à 3 heures du centre d'Iquitos. Away from everything, on a reserve , great guide Cesar! We got to see wild life at its own habitat, trips at night were amazing! We got to swim where some pink dolphins (boto) was jump around. Felt very safe, slept very well, food was good. The staff were great and very helpful! The company let you keep your bags at their agency before flight some you get to see Iquitos for a few hours. Amazing trip, very memorable.

Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
