We were lucky because we went the weekend of the Alma de Vihno festival in Alenquer (13km away), so we had access to Uber/ Bolt rides. The accommodation was so cute, and the hosts were lovely and gracious. It was harvest season, and they shared some of their fruit bounty with us. Very quiet and incredibly relaxing by the pool and listening to their multiple fountains in the quiet corners of their large property. Fantastic option to get away from the bustle of the big city. Highly recommend.

It was still chilly in the evening in March however the wonderful fireplace and the awesome ambient lighting through the space meant that our stay was cosy and warm. The little details and thought that’s gone into everything really shows. The robes, the towels, well & tastefully equipped and comfortable. We were busy with activities but met Nuno briefly, who was warm and accommodating and very responsive when we asked about additional wood for the fire. The outdoor bathroom is cute and the hot shower is excellent! Having it outside added for us to the natural experience of the beautiful setting. We’d recommend to anyone wanting to explore the lovely region.
