The location of Life House is great. Access to Tanglewood, Pittsfield super quick. We loved that our dog was welcome. The rooms are standard motor inn size but decorated in a modern and pleasant way. The lodge lobby is comfortable and funky. Outdoor seating and fire pit rounds things out. The staff were exceptionally helpful, facilitated charging my apple watch due to forgotten charger and recovered my lost kindle in the room. This place is a great value for the Berks in summertime. Fridge in room was a nice bonus.

The staff were very responsive to any questions or even suggestions for places to eat or visit. I did not have any issues of any type during my stay. As it was impossible to "see" or experience everything the area has to offer I will be going back, likely this fall and will stay at Berkshire Mountain Lodge. Thank You!

Cool retro motor lodge that has been refreshed. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure. Surrounding neighborhood was a little sketchy but we felt safe on the property. Definitely go to the Hot Dog Ranch next door for a cold beer and a Baby Hot Dog! Delicious!

Was there a breakfast? I wasn't aware. No one said anything about it to me, and there was no information card in the room. OK, this is not the newest or fanciest Travelodge out there, and the decor is somewhat shopworn. That being said, I did not book the room for style. The room/towels/linens were clean, it was quiet and there was plenty of hot water and the bed was firm , , , so I had everything I needed for this particular stay. I had minimal contact with the staff, but the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant.

The main inn seating area was cute , nicely decorated. We stayed the night of the Halloween party. Staff was all over the place, rushing around. seemed a little disoriented. We stayed in the lodge..Room was cute but missing a lot...no TV, refrigerator, the only 2 wall plugs were opposite end of bed. Also no dresser. Bathroom sink had a very slow drain. Breakfast looked minimal so we ended up leaving. Unfortunately would not go back.
