Activities available to sign up for (hike to viewpoint, bikes around town, kayak with bioluminescence, Long Ha Bay tour). Staff was friendly and attentive. Able to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets, with lots of veggies and tofu and meat alternatives for dinner, and fruit with simple pho or pancakes for breakfast. Would recommend!

The Homestay was lovely and spotless. Staff were wonderful and so helpful with booking a boat trip and transportation onward to Sapa. We liked the local but it was about a twenty minute walk to the waterfront where many of the cafes and restaurants are located. Great breakfast included and scooters available for rent.

Cat Ba Eco Lodge is a 20-minute walk from Local Family Zoo. Cat Bi International Airport is 75 km away. Incredible spot, in the middle of the woods surrounded by nature. The cabin was facing the lake, if available, I would strongly recommend that option, it is worth the money. Staff was super helpful and nice. They booked everything for us at a very good price and provide guidance for the different trekkings. Swimingpool was great, clean and chill water, sun beds and also towels so you don’t need to bring yours from the bedroom.
