We stayed in the 2 BR villa called the Farmhouse, in a fully enclosed and secure area populated by wandering wildebeest, springbok and other birds and animals. The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

I loved the facilities, everything was gorgeous and very 5 star quality, the room was huge, beautiful, warm and fancy. The staff was kind, generous and willing to help, their service was impeccable. My favorite places was the bon fire area, the restaurant, the pool & my absolute favorite was the Spa! It was so beautiful, relaxing and amazingly decorated. I wish my home looked like it. I mostly enjoyed the game drive with Brenden. He was professional, funny and very entertaining. He knew alot about animal trakings, different birds and how to attract them and knew where to find all the animals. I was very impressed with him as we saw all the animals we wanted to see but I loved seening the zebras, girraffes, hippos, the rhinos with their cubs drinking water and the elephants with their cubs also drinking waster, the lion sighting was my absolute favorite as we got a majestic roar. We spotted all these animals and more in less than 2 hours which was super amazing so well done Brenden and thank you for being the best tour guide ever! The overall trip was amazing and I had the best birthday weekend ever! I'll definitely be going back in the summer!

Fifty Seven Waterberg offers accommodation in Welgevonden Game Reserve. Free WiFi is available. Guests enjoy 1 game drive per day. Everything. The staff were amazing. Housekeeping came twice daily. Game reserve drives (our guide Ephraim was wonderful). The hotel pampers the customer in every way possible. The views are stunning. The location is serene. The facilities well maintained. We hired a massage which was excellent. (Thank you Witness and the other lady whom I forgot her name). The chef and their staff worked with us to cater to our specific dietary needs. It really was worth splurging to come here and we'd highly recommend. It was the highlight of our memorable trip to South Africa.

Offering game drives, wildlife viewing opportunities and a swimming pool, Mologa River Lodge is nestled in the African bushveld between Rust de Winter Dam and the Gauteng hills. The place looks just as amazing as it did the first time we visited. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it truly feels like a space to relax. This was our second visit, yet the beauty of the place still takes my breath away.

Situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge offers big five game drives and a spa and wellness centre. The Lodge is simply amazing both in terms of location, food, and staff. Loads of animal sighting during game drive.
