The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.

It has a spa and wellness centre and a private river-cruise boat. Stuffs are welcome and kind! The location is fantastic. One afternoon, an elephant came to the opposite shore, and some monkeys were just near buildings (not coming to be aggressive). And the sunset view from the river side was amazing!!

Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport is 19 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Amazing location on the river, very peaceful and interesting - we enjoyed spotting hippos and crocodiles directly from our terrace. Karen set a sunset cruiser just for us, memorable experience away from crowds in Victoria Falls. We wish we had stayed more than a simple night, and enjoyed the bbq facilities! Next time, thanks
