Our 9 night stay was like a relaxation room of a nature spa . Perfect for a quiet retreat, to work, write or just relax. It was wonderful, comfortable and unique. We were the lucky first guests of Annette and Rainer. Our hosts have restored this beautiful Church to a modern design that is truly unique. The pictures do not do this property justice. Charming, warm and welcoming our Hosts and there sweet Oreo(dog) were beyond our expectations! We will certainly return.

The apartment is very nice, in a very good location, very close to the station, a very short distance from Essen. We wanted to visit the Christmas Markets in some cities and it was very easy to get to the central station in Essen, to take the train to Köln, Dusseldorf or Dortmund. The apartment is very clean and it has all the facilities one needs. There are 3 bedrooms and 7 beds. The kitchen is very well-equipped.
