One of the best hotel spas we've been to in England! The place is really well maintained, has all the charms of yesteryears but the conveniences of today. I especially enjoyed the pool, wish I could've swam more! The food was also really lovely, haven't seen a delicious breakfast spread like that in ages.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was very clean, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. The location was very quiet and beautiful. The room disposed of everything we needed and the selection of tea and coffee was much appreciated. I would recommend this place.

This is an exceptional hotel in a quiet country village location. Everything about it is class. We felt welcomed and at home from the moment we walked in. Our room and the hotel’s attention to detail was faultless. The staff were excellent and attentive. Our dinner was top notch. Every place we stay in from now on will be measured against the White Horse.

The location is absolutely second to none, within the cathedral grounds. I had some concerns about the remote check in procedure but the staff I dealt with (remotely) were excellent taking in last minute details for rental cars etc. Really good rooms and cleaning staff on site were great also.

Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

    Absolute incredible! From the staff to the location to the luxurious experience (yet very understated and homey), we had an exceptional stay and will definitely be visiting again! A big thank you to the wonderful red haired woman who works in the reception, what a glorious welcome at check in we got from her! We have travelled to many luxurious hotels but this was by far the kindest most friendly welcome we have ever gotten from any staff! The restaurant was wonderful too, beautifully presented top quality food! Can definitely recommend.
