I have never reviewed a hotel in my life, despite staying in hundreds. Albeit I sadly was not there long, this hotel was truly fabulous, such a pleasant surprise after a busy day travelling.

I wouldn’t usually leave reviews however, this was one of the cleanest and homeliest places I have stayed. There was a lovely welcome message which made it a nice personal touch. We visited for Edinburgh Christmas markets, the location to both Edinburgh and Glasgow was made within 30 mins from here and Falkirk itself is lovely. Kerry emailed back straight away with a query that I had and was really polite about the situation. We met Alan on our visit to confirm everything was ok with our stay - both hosts very welcoming. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Collection of keys was simple, called once arrived and the hosts met us onsite within a couple of minutes to show us around. The lodge is fully equipped with everything we need for our stay and more. We had such a fantastic weekend with our parents and are already making plans to return, the children (4 and 6) also did not want to leave! Massive thanks for the luxury stay, hamper and robes!

The property had everything we needed. The instructions on how to use the facilities were well presented. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The cottage is very clean. All of the appliances are modern. We loved the space and tranquil setting.
