We had a blast staying at Invercreran Lodge B&B. The hosts were really nice, they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was lovely, everything was super clean and the views were amazing. The two course breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend, we will surely come back 🙂

John and Sally are very friendly and always responsive to request and assistance. They provide advice on the transportation and helped dinner booking. The room was spotlessly clean and you will safe to use all the facilities in the room. The bath tub is a bonus. I got a nice room with the best view for sunset. I did not expect B&B with this standard of facilities and I had a lovely stay in the place. Hope I could stay more days. Thank you, John and Sally.

The best experience ever! a large, bright spotless room with a high ceiling and an incredibly beautiful view! Great location.Extra treats and breakfast items, especially welcoming sherry (!) were very much appreciated.

We spent 2 nights at the Dungallan Country House and It is a beautiful property which is very tastefully presented. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The public areas are lovely to spend time in, particularly the library and bar. There is a beautiful outdoor area if the weather is fine. The team managing and working at the hotel were all very welcoming, friendly and at the same time professional. The hotel is a 3 minute drive/ enjoyable 15 minute walk from the centre of Oban or a taxi costs approximately £5. We enjoyed the location as the views from the hotel were spectacular. The choice at breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

We liked everything about the house. The owner was very helpful and available if we needed anything. After a day of walking it was lovely to come back cook some food (or get a takeaway) and settle down in front of the wood burner and watch some to tv. It was also easy to walk into Oban. Great holiday, will definitely be coming back.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

From the moment we arrived at Ceo Mara Croft and saw that spectacular view across Airds Bay, we did not want to leave. The surroundings are peaceful and feel completely isolated. Apart from our goat companions and the occasional hen! Inside the cabin was warm and cosy. It has been decorated beautifully and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was super comfortable. There were also handy facilities for drying wet gear/shoes in the little outhouse next to the cabin. We especially loved the views from the bed at night and in the morning. The bed itself was super comfortable and had luxurious bedding. Despite this, I would have preferred the option for some blackout curtains in the bedroom as the sun comes in first thing (sometimes you want to sleep in!) and the blinds did not really do anything to block the light. Matt was a super host, attentive when it was needed, but gave us plenty of space to be alone and enjoy the quiet. As we were there on a Monday and Tuesday, we were not able to try out any restaurants in Taynuilt itself, but we did have a very good dinner at the Ben Cruachan Inn and and an excellent breakfast at Poppies. Taynuilt is a great spot for exploring surrounding towns and scenic spots. We loved our two days at Ceo Mara and were very sad to say goodbye to the cabin and the view!
