We were amazed by the variation and the quality of the food served in the restaurant. The hotel served a lot dishes from the greek cuisine, which we loved. We could taste a lot of greek dishes that you could find in a restaurants menu and the flavours were superb! Our kids loved the pools and waterslides. We had a room by the main pool on the ground floor, which was very convenient with the kids. We stayed at the older part of the hotel buildings, which has a lot of greenery around🙂 The hotel buildings, gardens and overall territory was beautifully maintained ja very clean. Hotel staff was always very polite and nice to us. We liked that the hotel was close to the town. Our room seemed newly renovated and was cleaned every day. The bathroom was extremely small, with the door open, but it was no big deal for us🙂

We can´t recommend Cretan Dream Resort and Spa highly enough. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 stars hotels all over the world and this is our best experience! The manager and all of the staff are the most precious gems of the hotel. They did absolutely everything for us! You feel like you are staying with a big Cretan family and they treat you royal. You truly feel that they do care about you, your wellbeeing and how your stay is. Even though we were demanding and difficult guests at times they handled it very professionally and kindly. We are very thankful for that. The food is very good, paired with excellent wines, the pool area is fabulous with great views over the ocean, relaxing and not crowded. In the beautiful spa area we got the best massage ever so we highly recommend having treatments there. In the evenings they sometimes have theme dinners and shows that are fun. We give this hotel six stars of five possible or ten out of ten :). We hope to come back soon and will recommend it to eveyone travelling to Crete. We got an upgrade when we arrived to a galaxy suite. We had our own mini pool and private terrace on the roof. Our room was beautiful, bright and clean. We were welcomed with a smoothie/juice at reception and in our room was a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit platter. They also allowed us to check in earlier than 3pm which was a bonus. The hotel itself is new and fresh and the outdoor pool and loungers are lovely. There are loungers on the beach also. It's in a rural seaside location around 30 mins drive from Chania Old town. You have a view of the sea from everywhere and it's a nice sandy beach too. We would recommend going all inclusive. The food selection was extensive from choice of fruits, salads, cold meat and cheeses to the hot food and desserts. They also have a la carte menus for lunch and dinner if you prefer. Staff were all very friendly and helpful all the time. Nothing was too much trouble.

It's not often the real experience exceeds already high set expectations. The apartment was even better than it looked on the site. So fresh and convenient! The hosts also helped us with transfers, car rentals and experienced on the island. So close to the beach and an easy bus ride to chania. Top notch all around!

    We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Atlantica ocean beach. I usually book 5 star hotels, but so glad I booked this one for our holiday to Crete. The food was very good with lots of variety each evening with good options for kids or fussy eaters. Lovely pool and waterslides. Drinks were good and hotel not too far from Chania old town / Platanias, which is cheap and easy to get to by bus - stop outside of hotel. We will definitely return 🙂 Thank you Ocean Beach.

    A perfect friendly host, very easy check in and out. Max 1 hour driving distance to the best beaches of Europe. 30m to the beach. Very clean and feels really luxury with its private pools. A lot of restaurants nearby.
