Luxury Hotels in Kolkata

The staff is amazing. The room and the bed are very comfortable. The Asiatic restaurant close to the Spa is very good and the Spa ( massages) as well. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever get .The front desk is very helpful. I would definitely go again ! ( sorry having spent only one night)

The Westin is a luxurious hotel providing all the amenities expected of a good 5-star hotel. I am not sure why but maybe because it is off-season in Kolta, but I thought the Westin was excellent value for money. It is probably more expensive in peak season. My room was spacious with an excellent desk and chair. The room has a huge bathtub and the shower is uite spacious. The special Bengali New Year's buffet dinner at Seasonal Tastes on the 10th floor was absolutely superb. I have not had so many excellent and exquisite dishes for a long time. They had live music during the dinner and I was entertaining people I wanted to chat with. We were promptly relocated to another part of the music where is was quieter and one could chat more easily. The gym is well-equipped and the swimming pool is also quite enticing. A special shout-out to the exceptional and helpful staff especially Mr Pranab Banerjee, Jr Sous Chef, who goes out of his way to attend to residents during breakfast, as well as Rinky and Tamal at Seasonal Tasters. The breakfast spread is exceptional. The only other place where the breakfast spread exceeds that offered at The Westin is the ITC Royal Bengal (in my opinion). All in all, I will certainly consider the Westin the next time I am in Kolkata.

We had an extremely pleasant and memorable stay at JW Marriott, Kolkata. The weeklong stay starting Jan 23, 2023, was without a single glitch. Besides the great facilities and food, the hotel staff deserve a special mention for their attentiveness to our needs and their hospitality. We would like to specially mention Chahat who helped us in a smooth check in. Special mention is also deserved by Partha Pal and Sangay who managed all our needs at the dining., along with Ganesh, Robert, Karan and Surajit (the tea maker) at the dining. Robert and Karan made special dishes requested by us while Surajit’s tea was a hit. Ayan Roychowdhury of housekeeping did an excellent job in taking care of our needs. And of course, the grand welcome and warm send off by valet team, making it one our best hotel stay experiences. Thanks also to Malavika for her indulgence!
