The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. They were always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast had a good variety of food, and everything was fresh and tasty. I especially liked the hot coffee and fresh fruits. The location was perfect because it was close to many shops, restaurants, and public transport. It was easy to explore the city from there.

Great stay in Kandy! We booked for 5 nights and couldn’t be more happy with our decision. Since the first contact they were impeccable, picked us up from the station, made us lunch (Purmina is a great cook, her food is so yumi, everyday breakfast was delicious and very filling). They were always happy to help in every way they could - checking bus, driving us if needed, doing our laundry… etc. We are leaving our bags in their place as well to pick it up in a few days, so you can imagine how nice and kind they are!!

Beyond that, Inoka and family go out of their way to make you feel part of the family. It was a perfect couple of days after a busy week of travel. The staff were lovely we loved the nature walks and trip to the natural pool with Isuru ( the naturalist ) and the amazing infinity pool sits high above the resort with the most stunning views. From start to finish it was just wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner and both were really good and lots of choices, service was attentive. The room was super comfortable air-con efficient, well stocked mini bar, iron hair, dryer kettle all just perfect. Beds and pillows comfy. There are trips out but we were just happy to be at the resort.
