The place is just a piece of paradise on earth. Green, quiet, beautiful, modern yet cosy nature resort that brings you instant peace when settling in!! The rooms are fantastic with every comfort thinkable!! Huge cudos to the staff!! Ronson is a sweetheart that makes everything possible including a 5am tuktuk pick up, Sanjeewa in the restaurant most friendly, and I was the only guest on day 1 and the rooms are so nice I ended up having twice inroom service and despite heavy rains he brought the DELICIOUS food into my room with a smile! The chef is amazing, too. Breakfast and both my dinners were fabulous!! Wish I could stay longer but glad that at least it was 2 days! My room showed both rocks Sigiriya & Pidurangala from the bed & terrace which was stunning!! As I only climbed Sigiriya, I have a reason to come back to climb Pidurangala, too and when I I do, I’ll stay here again 🥰

Our favourite stay throughout our month in Sri Lanka! We absolutely loved this guest house in Sigiriya. The views are absolutely incredible, delicious breakfast every morning, the host family are the kindest & most hospitable we have come across & the rooms are very clean & comfortable. We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

The resort is put together beautifully. peaceful and perfectly blended with the natural surroundings. Our water dwelling was just stunning. The attention to detail and the room layout are awesome. The service was outstanding. A special thank you to Ravindra and Amila, who looked after us throughout our stay. It’s great to have a personal butler, but what made the experience really special was how genuinely they cared about making us feel at home. The guided tour of Sigiriya Rock and the elephant safari are well-organized, and the naturalists who joined us were knowledgeable and making the trips more than worthwhile. If you’re planning to do these kinds of trips, definitely go with a guide. The food was another highlight with attention to local dishes as well as international cuisine.
