Our stay at Peninsula Izora in the Danube Delta was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was absolutely superb — every meal was a delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes that showcased the best of the region’s cuisine. Dining here was a true highlight of our trip. The location itself is perfect — peaceful, scenic, and a fantastic base for exploring the Delta. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the birding tour they organised for us. It was so well planned and guided, allowing us to see a stunning array of birdlife in their natural habitat — a real bucket-list experience for nature lovers. Peninsula Izora is a rare find and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and every intention of returning!

The Landlady was so nice friendly and helpfull! She arranged a boattrip into the delta for us, found always friendly people who could explain and translate into english, since we unfortunally don't speak rumanian. So she made our stay in every way a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Calm , peaceful and outstanding! They have kayaks to take a ride on the water channel nearby the house. The rooms are spotless clean, hotel amenities included. The garden is really cool.

Lovely property , it has everything that it needs for a wonderful stay with family or friends. It really seems it was constructed and made to spend good times , I think the owners really put theirs heart into this house. We enjoyed the bbq area alot. The bedrooms with the walk in bathrooms is definitely a plus, as well for the rituals details.Truly recommended
