The luxury resort is located in the middle of the Danube Delta and it offers 5 star accommodation and service. We were upgraded (without asking) to a bungalow with direct view onto one of the canals. Big ships were sailing right in front of us. All services and facilities are up to the 5 star level. The food in terms of quality and diversity is incredible, the breakfast is probably one of the best I have experienced. We particularly enjoyed dinners where live music was offered. We even extended our stay by one day. There are 3 outdoor pools and one inside, Super clean and nice. Our kids enjoyed every moment. We will definitely come back. PS: if you are on a budget this may not be the place for you. But you pay for what you get: 5 star so for us it was worth every penny.

It was all about relaxationfor us adults, children were active 24/7 with all the activities you can imagine from fishing, poney riding, pool, boat trips, trambuline, play ground, football pitch, cinema room, cycling, everything you name it.

Lovely property , it has everything that it needs for a wonderful stay with family or friends. It really seems it was constructed and made to spend good times , I think the owners really put theirs heart into this house. We enjoyed the bbq area alot. The bedrooms with the walk in bathrooms is definitely a plus, as well for the rituals details.Truly recommended

Spent 3 nights in this pretty shiny lodge. The goal was to watch the pelicans in the Delta which was perfectly achieved thanks to the boat trip starting from the accomodation's own jetty, organized and operated by the hosts. Ionela was the most congenial host and the seamanship of the coxswain was outstanding. In the end the whole trip was about 100km and besides the pelicans we ticked off cormorants, eagles and the actual Black Sea as well. Wifi was great, too, and the car could be parked within the premises.

Pensiunea Pestisorul has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Dunavăţu de Jos. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. One of the things we loved most was the setup with three buildings and three pools—we had the freedom to use any of them. We usually chose the one near the restaurant and bar so we could enjoy a drink or have lunch right after a swim, which was super convenient. The food was also great! We especially loved the buffet at breakfast and dinner—plenty of tasty options for us, and our little one always found something she liked, which made mealtimes easy and stress-free. She also had a fantastic time playing in the pool and exploring the playground area. It’s definitely a family-friendly place. We also went on a boat trip organized from the location, and it was a lovely experience. We visited a quiet lake and a wild beach—peaceful and beautiful. All in all, we were very happy and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing family holiday.

Our stay at Peninsula Izora in the Danube Delta was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference and created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was absolutely superb — every meal was a delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes that showcased the best of the region’s cuisine. Dining here was a true highlight of our trip. The location itself is perfect — peaceful, scenic, and a fantastic base for exploring the Delta. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the birding tour they organised for us. It was so well planned and guided, allowing us to see a stunning array of birdlife in their natural habitat — a real bucket-list experience for nature lovers. Peninsula Izora is a rare find and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and every intention of returning!
