It is about an hour from Huangshan North train station but they can help you arrange getting to and from the hotel if you message. The owner speaks English and was extremely friendly and helpful with us planning our route. He also suggested trips in the surrounding area on the days where there were thunderstorms and strong winds on the mountain. Lots of food and supermarkets in the area, and steps from the hotel you get an amazing view of Huangshan on the horizon. They also upgraded our room to one with a balcony since we booked in advance. They have an extensive drink menu and a few food items if you don't feel like leaving the premises. Lots of room to hang out in the lobby, they have some games and even an acoustic guitar. Free laundry as well. Next time we come to huangshan we would stay nowhere else!

The room was spacious with a nice tea-room vibe. The best thing, however, was that the hosts really took care of me and I didn't have to worry about a thing when I was planning my hike around Huangshan as well as the following day. I was a bit busy around the time of my stay and had not done too much research but they sat down with me and walked me through everything. They also helped me with drivers and everything. Would highly recommend Yunshan Villa!

Such a great stay - booked for the cute cats (exceeded expectations) but the owners were so helpful and really made the trip perfect. They had excellent recommendations & pretty much planned my entire itinerary & arranged a guide & driver (Thank you to Jayson & all of the staff - super friendly & helpful.) Also, It’s located in a very pretty area, central to attractions, the breakfast is delicious & the decor is very charming & cozy. Highly recommend

The location was close to everything i wanted to see and had great valet service. The breakfast catered to international travelers and there was pleantly of room for large groups of people. The breakfast staff was very attentive. The room was spacious and had a bathtub which was great for soaking in after a long day of sightseeing, also the shower was in a seperate location.

The staff’s courtesy, warmth and right level of care started right at entry of the hotel lobby. The wall to wall and floor to ceiling marble can be cold, but The Langham Hefei ‘s lobby feels warm and happy due to its yellow hue lighting I believe. I could immediately smell flowers once I stepped in the lobby, pleasant but not overwhelming. It came from a huge bouquet composed of hundreds of pink lilies, not the pink roses representing The Langham worldwide. I prefer lily’s smell anyway. The bouquet is by the front desk, so one could enjoy the lilies while waiting for check-in. As a matter of fact, I waited no time. Ada Yang greeted me and checked me in within 2 minutes. I was very glad I moved from the other 5-star hotel which I had been told it was considered the ceiling of Hefei hotel scene. It took that hotel 10 minutes to check me in plus swiped my credit card on the wrong machine that caused the spending authority refused initially. The breakfast experience was also great! The Seasons restaurant has a big capacity so I was always able to be seated whenever I went down. House keeping also checks on guests each afternoon not see any additional help are needed. After two nights stay, I decided to change my original plan to continue staying at The Langham Hefei. It was again Ada Yang who helped me with the extension. She continued to be warm, professional and efficient. Due to my itinerary change, I extended my stay again. This time it was Kristen He (XIAO He) who helped me. From XIAO He I also experienced the Langham quality- courtesy, warmth,knowledge and efficiency. Being asked about absence of Langham’s pink uniform, she explained to me the responsibilities of each role and separation of roles in Langham’s efforts to optimize guests’ experience.She went extra miles to ask her manager’s permission to give me a complimentary Happy Hour.
