Located five minutes away from Tayrona Park main entrance. Senda Koguiwa provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and an outdoor swimming pool. Great price/value ratio. The stuff is very helpful and the scenery is really enjoyable!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were so helpful. The view and sunset very worth it. We didn’t want to leave the pool. Kids loved it too!! The service provided at the front desk was exceptional, especially the team organising tours.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. An absolutely incredible place. The drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart but well worth it once you arrive. I can’t say enough great things about this property. I highly recommend.

The room was clean when we arrived. The use of the swimming pool after a hot day was refreshing. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast meals were delicious. The property is walking distance from everything.

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. The room is beautiful! Have enough space. The bathroom also very nice decoratated. If you want to have peace, this is the best option. Its a very small hotel, 4 rooms. You only hear the sea. From the bed you can also see the sea. Its a great stay to enjoy the peace and have nice days at the beach. Just to know, there isnt yet any Restaurants or bar in the place, but you can go to the hostels next to it. It didnt bother us at all.
