Exceptionally helpful staff, very understanding about us ammending our booking as we decided we needed more time to get back to punta cana and have a couple of days to relax before the flight home- a bit of a shame as would have been great to stay and try some surfing ( our poor planning). owner was so friendly and helpful-all the staff including night security guard made us feel very welcome, helpful suggestions on local ammentities and things to do. very close to the surf break which looked like it had options for all abilities and really clean looking main break. nice empty beaches nearby that are a bit wilder than other places we stayed which was nice. no wind when we were there but for kiting would be a about 15 min walk to get to beach with enough room to launch. breakfast was great with fresh juice options- for me a vegi version of the domincan option was perfection . room / appartment very spacious and comfy, great bed and shower. drying rack, water cooler with hot water option too- everything you could need, huge fridge and feezer for longer stays. nice pool. spotlessly clean and all the linen smelt lovely.

The staff members was the best. They made our vacation the very best we ever had. The staff was always ready to help especially this young man Anderson who was there making sure we had everything we needed. I am so happy with the service we got at peninsula Esmeralda my family and I returning in the summer. Omg let’s talk about the chef’s no one cook up a Dominican breakfast like chef Felix and his assistant they was amazing they came in early did all the preparation for my brother birthday breakfast they did everything on time with a full course breakfast

Sosua is not a dangerous place anyway, we’ve been staying there for 15 years without a problem but it’s nice to have extra security for the first two weeks I was there before my husband arrived. overall I highly recommend
