Set on 19 acres of tropical gardens, the adults-only Tropica island Resort features 2 restaurants, a horizon swimming pool and 3 bars offering panoramic ocean views. Breakfast was superb. Staff was very friendly, caring; looked after us as you would do for dear family; true to the welcoming words on our arrival - welcome to our family! Idillic island life! Peaceful!! Lots of time and space to relax!! Snorkelling on the garden reef was out of this world!! I would imagine that is what the Garden of Eden must have looked like; breathtaking. We booked dinner at Lako Mai Restaurant; quiet, experienced beautiful sunset while listening to the sea rolling backwards and forwards, music to one’s ears, no man made music needed at all!! Thank you we enjoyed a piece of paradise at the Tropica!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always attentive without being intrusive. Their warm hospitality added to the incredible sense of peace and relaxation. The resort itself has an intrepid luxury feel—beautifully designed villas with stunning ocean views, private plunge pools, and a laid-back elegance that made it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. Waking up to the sound of the waves, spending time doing nothing other than soaking in the serenity was exactly what we were looking for.
