Beautifully decorated and really comfortable setting. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Check in and out was very simple and I was made to feel welcome instantly and for my entire stay. This trip was solo for business. I will be returning with my partner in the near future.

Beautiful location quiet and scenic , the furnishings are of a very high standard , this is followed through to the bedding, large comfy beds, up market luxury furnishings to the comfortable bathroom. This place ranks very high indeed. The breakfast was delicious ,we had the full English , lots of other choices. Just 5 minutes from the Beamish museum.

Jo is super friendly when we asked if we may leave our luggage there before the check-in hour. The place is super cozy, clean, spacious and surrounded by the greens in the backside of a vibrant area. Just 5 minutes away from all the pubs restaurants and 10 minutes away from the castle and cathedral, actually you can see them even among the trees from the balcony. Jo spent a lot of effort on the interior so we enjoyed looking at the decorations in the house. Absolutely enjoy the stay there.

Great location close to shops just 5 min drive/20 min walk and about 40 min walk to the cathedral. there’s nothing I could fault about the place, definitely the best stay I’ve had 10/10
