LOTS of restaurants nearby. Very clean room, and modern looking. I absolutely loved the bathroom which featured both a shower and a bath. Very cool for our 2 year old. Breakfast was delicious and featured a mix of Japanese and western style food. Staff was amazing and very helpful and spoke excellent English. One of the most pleasant hotels I’ve ever been too! Would come again !!

I’m so glad we found this hotel, it was the perfect place for us to stay in Kyoto. We slept super well and the room was very spacious. It felt cozy and homely and we liked the lounge and free snacks a lot too! The staff spoke great English and were very friendly. We were sad to leave!

The location of the hotel in Kyoto was perfect—centrally situated with easy access to a wide variety of restaurants and close to a station. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very new, and it shows in the modern, clean, and spacious rooms, which provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the standout features was the small room where guests could sit and enjoy drinks at no extra cost. It was such a thoughtful touch and really added to the overall experience. The amenities were top-notch, and the room even had a speaker, which was a nice little luxury.

This 4-star hotel provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and spa centre. The hotel offers a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. 10/10 stay - the hotel exceeded all expectations. It is beautifully decorated and feels very luxurious. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful with every request, and were some of the most friendly and helpful staff we’ve every encountered. The on-site laundry is super useful and free of charge. The onsen facilities were wonderful (but bear in mind they are not available to tattooed guests). The room was large , well laid out and very clean. The pretty zen gardens on each floor were a nice touch. This hotel is a steal for the price - would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto (and gives a little taste of a ryokan experience while staying at a hotel).
