I would like to thank our host Franzi, Kiki and the rest of the team for treating us with the upmost respect and kindness. The wonderful staff was very attentive and made everyone feel at home at all times. Everything has been taken care of from the day we arrived to when we left. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties. Everything was freshly made with passion and love. Franzi would occasionally give us a ride with the tuktuk when going out, or in need of a quick transport. Her driving skills are simply unmatched and deserves mentioning. The days felt nice and long as the property offers a safe space to retreat from the busy, chaotic roads further south, making you enjoy every second at the property more. Stunning views from all corners into the vast ocean with unforgettable sunsets leave you speechless. Our trip through SriLanka was rapidly transformed from an adventurous busy holiday to a perfect relaxing safe space with direct access to the beach. Leaving this place makes me extremely sad but I am hoping to return soon again to spend some more quality time with the wonderful people I’ve met here, and can call friends. One of the perfect stay we had during our Sri Lanka Trip. Villa Rumassala Luxury Chalets exceed all our expectations. Villas were huge and exceptionally clean. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom had a washing machine too. There was greenery all around and so very peaceful. The staff was so welcoming, warm and always smiling. Their hospitality was one of the finest. We used to order food in room service and it was super delicious. Somedays I really miss this place. Whenever I visit again, without a second thought I will only stay here.

The manager was attentive to all our requirements. -Being a vegetarian, I did not have a lot of options for breakfast or other meals, however, the chef Isuru and other kitchen staff went out of the way to make vegetarian meal options for me. -They arranged for a spa treatment upon request for us and the masseuse knew his work. I would like to conclude by saying that both the property and kitchen staff at Tavetti understand the ethics of the Hospitality industry well!

Overall our stay was just beautiful! We stayed for 6 nights at the end of our Sri Lanka trip. We chose the hotel as we wanted one directly at the beach (check: The Hotel is right at the beach and you have a perfect Sea-view from every Hotel), which isn't too big (check: The hotel has 3 rooms total, so you're not just a number) and has at least the possibility to eat there (check: breakfast was included, dinner was optional but we ate there 4 times) John (the owner) and his crew is a really nice and helpful person, he even took us once to Galle, as he had something to do there so we hadn't have to take an Uber there. He was always there for a small chat (if you wanted, he was never intrusive). The boys who work for him are phenomenal! Always nice and accomodating! But also never too much. There was a menu for breakfast where you could choose between different things, in our opinon there is enough choice for a week. We even got asked the last day if we want a typical sri lankan breakfast (which we luckily had as it was really delicious!). What we have to add is, that John wasn't above to clean the beach every morning himself! We saw him cleaning some stuff which felt down from the trees or got blown at the beach infront of the hotel. This shows his passion for this hotel. Hopefully the hotel and the crew stays at is! We really can recommend a stay at Josan Villa! We will be staying there, if we come back to Sri Lanka at some point. Thanks John!

A human-sized hotel with 13 rooms and numerous services. The staff is very helpful, always very friendly and willing to assist. The rooms are functional and decorated with attention to detail. Amazing views of coconut trees, the pool, and the Indian Ocean. The beach is very well equipped, not crowded, right at the hotel's doorstep, with sun loungers, canopy beds, and staff to monitor and assist guests. The place is very calm and relaxing. The hotel is like a secluded island in an area that doesn't have much interest in itself. The highlight: the restaurant serves excellent food, worthy of a starred restaurant, catering to all tastes at reasonable prices. The breakfast is also excellent, nothing like the bland international food of big hotel chains. The chef was attentive to our needs and tried to fulfill every wish we had. What's more, for my husband's birthday, we were offered a cake and a bottle of wine. We really felt pampered in Ahu Bay. Thanks again to all staff for this memorable holiday!
