Mr Kushala and his wife really care about their guests – their homestay is incredibly clean, in a big beautiful house on a hill 5mins outside te busy traffic of Kandy's main streets. There are all kinds of fruit trees in the yard and you'll see monkeys and squirrels in the trees, and if you're lucky be lulled to sleep by the gentle chattering of the fruit bats. My room was spotless and had a lovely balcony that looked out into the trees, so peaceful and a great spot for a calming tea. The breakfasts were outstanding, so huge and delicious and different every day, as were the dinners I ordered. You really become part of the family. And Mr kushala is very willing to give you lifts to or from the station, or do a tour to where you want to go around or outside of town. Love seeing how much passion they have for Kandy and Sri Lanka!

My stay at Danisco Leisure Bungalow was spectacular. The family made me feel like home from the very first moment. I was alone so finding such lovely host is really a treasure. The rooms are incredible, all the furniture is brand new and the attention to detail is incredible. The air conditioning is a game changer. Also, the food is something I could never forget. The location is perfect if you want to relax by the pool in a very safe and quiet area but at the same time you want to explore Kandy during the day. Higly recommended!

I definately will come back. キャンディで宿泊したいと思い、Booking.comで偶然見つけて予約したのですが、本当に本当に素晴らしいホテルでした。 ホテルというよりもオーベルジュに近いかもしれません。ミシュラン級の素晴らしい食事は、ここ数年食べたものの中で一番美味しかった気がします。特にベジタリアン食とスリランカ食が美味しいです。Green beansのサラダは特に絶品でした。朝食のホッパーも驚く美味しさ！ スタッフの方は誰もがとても丁寧で親切、ジャングルの中に隠された地区100年の建物は美しく、中のアートも素敵、オーナーDavidさんの趣味の音楽も素敵、何もかもが100点満点を大きく超えてきます。 キャンディからは少し距離がありますが、それでも最高の宿泊が出来ます。1泊何十万円のホテルよりも素晴らしいです。 また必ず宿泊したいです。
