The apartment was very clean. It has that clean smell which greeted us when we opened the door when we first arrived. It felt very cozy, and we felt right at home although we were far away from Singapore. The kitchen is equipped with the cutlery and utensils, and the drawers were thoughtfully labelled. The apartment and rooms were spacious and what we really appreciate is that there is ample storage in all rooms. There are many hooks too, for us to be able to hang our shirt/jacket/etc. Every room, including the living room has a Kiblat sticker too, pointing in the direction of Kaaba, for us to be able to take reference very easily when performing solat. The toilets are clean too! One set of Dental Kit was provided in both toilets. From what we have seen and experienced, the apartment has been very thoughtfully furnished and maintained. The location of the apartment is immediately next to Four Points by Sheraton. In terms of shops and eateries, there are many options readily available within walking distance. The SKS Mall is just behind the apartment and there are many shops which includes convenience stores, supermarket, Roti Boy, an eatery offering Asian cuisine (including breakfast options), and even a wet market! If my 2 younger kids were bigger, we would have no issues travelling and roaming around the area even more. We will return to Desaru in future and Ancozy will definitely be one of our top choices! L’établissement The Westin Desaru Coast Resort se trouve à Desaru, à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Desaru. J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, qui était parfaitement situé pour participer et assister au triathlon. La piscine au niveau 1 était parfaite pour se détendre après une journée bien remplie. Le personnel était très sympathique et toujours prêt à aider, ce qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus agréable. Un point fort de mon séjour était le petit-déjeuner : c'est le plus gros petit-déjeuner que j'aie jamais vu, avec une grande variété de choix pour satisfaire tous les goûts.

Situé à l'écart de l'agitation de la ville, le Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast propose des hébergements à côté du parc aquatique Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark. Staff were uniformly cheerful, helpful and kind. Really made a difference to our stay. The food was brilliant. 2 restaurants (1 by the pool, 1 big one) and we enjoyed both. The breakfast buffet was enormous, you could have a completely different breakfast each day. Curry, noodles, fry up, toast, cereals fresh fruit. Pool bar had decent Mexican style food (we had fajitas, burritos and a giant bowl of guac) During the day/evening, the menu covered several kinds of Asian and western food and we enjoyed everything we had. Portions were very generous as well. Pro tip - at weekends go for room service for the a la carte menu in the evening. Kids enjoyed the kids menu, and ate a lot of chips. As the hotel is not in a built up area, we were so pleased that the restaurant was serving up such good food over a long stay. Our kids were too young for the band but I enjoyed it - they were super tight. Our quiet room was far enough that it wasn't "fesrival-loud". Our room was clean, well kept and a good size for 4. The bed was very comfortable. The pool is a good size for both doing some relaxed laps, as well as for the kids to jump in it. Didn't investigate the waterpark, but we definitely will next time. Kids liked the small playground and especially the water play area.
