We rented the ground floor apartment with a large terrace and a small backyard to step out to - which was absolutely fantastic as we wanted to do a little barbecue one night. The house is at a perfect location, close enough to the village center to get everything we need (supermarket, restaurant etc in walking distance) but far enough to have our peace and quiet. The house is overlooking the lake and just a short stroll away from it. Hiking trails are easy to get to. The sauna is an awesome little treat at the end of a long day of hiking - though not as hot as a regular finn sauna. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, the house is spotlessly clean. Would go back anytime!

The views are amazing -- it was grey and rainy when we arrived so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces, which are really inviting. EAT HERE if you have the chance. The chef is brilliant and the four-course tasting menu is a value! They paired Slovenian wines for us and they were all delicious.
