Motels in Amelia Island

This was my 6th visit to Amelia Island and I have always stayed at The Beachside. It has by far the friendliest & nicest staff. I absolutely love this motel.

Real old Florida motel that is in a perfect location. We will always stay here year after year.

We love motels like The Surf. Our room was very clean, well stocked with the usual essentials, and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond in customer service.

Location and the cleaning lady was the best thing about the motel. Not much else.

I was suprised at the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed. Felt like I was in a guest room at someone’s home. Small beach motel with great beach access . Makes it perfect

This motel was in great location right by ocean. It is older motel but they have made upgrades to room.

Motel closed tried to check in around 2:30 pm - no one on premises to check us in. Toured Amelia Island and returned after 4:00 - no one on premises. Had to turn around and finally found a hotel in St. Augustine. Please return all monies paid on this reservation. Thank you. David Howard

Excellent oceanfront motel was perfect for our overnight stay. Wish we had stayed longer. Easy, free parking. Comfy, clean, great staff. Can’t beat this location! Short drive to historic Fernandina Beach, which we absolutely loved.

Having the restaurant on site was a huge plus. Staff was friendly food was good. The room was decent. Upon arrival. The building is definitely dated. However, the room was not bad. It is the typical older beach motel. The location was nice. It is almost directly across from the public beach access. I would stay there again. It kind of grows on you.
