This 5-star motel offers barbecue facilities. Certain rooms at the property feature a patio with a garden view. Great little Motel just outside Wawa Ontario. Very clean and comfortable.

Wayside Motel Manitoulin is located in Manitowaning. All rooms feature a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV with cable channels and an HDMI cable. Guests can enjoy high speed internet.

Guestrooms are air conditioned and decorated with local art and local handmade furniture. Rooms are soundproofed and offer a microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A private bathroom is also included. Everything. It was super clean. Elizabeth and her son were fantastic hosts - helpful, accommodating and friendly. The patio area was a gem for evening sunset viewing and morning coffee. They were super helpful with the use of their bbq too. Overall it’s top notch, conveniently located near the highway, but far enough back away from it. The town of Manitowaning is really peaceful, and the beach is a 2min drive from the motel. It is a short drive to Sheguiandah and Little Current as well as South Baymouth (ferry terminal). As a former resident of Little Current, returning home for a visit, I discovered Manitowaning from a new perspective and found it to be an amazing little place to stay. Can’t say enough about the Wayside and the owners.

Downtown Napanee is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the motel. Napanee Golf and Country Club is 2 km away. Family run motel. Extremely clean. Best shower we had in 2 weeks :-)
