Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... Spacious rooms, well equipped. Good friendly service. We would come back.

Offering views of the mountain, Karamea River Motels is located in Karamea in the West Coast Region. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating and dining area. Everything. The room was huge, with a firm, comfortable bed and French doors opening onto a private sitting area outside. The kitchenette was tiny but everything we needed for basics was there. Teas and good coffee provided. A great shower. Excellent laundry facilities with a clothesline available. Comfortable and spacious and welcoming.
