The staff were amazing, and very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean. We had cooking facilities, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and luxury white towels. It really was a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend Acacia Lake View Motel.

Lake Taupo and Tokaanu Thermal Pools are within 5 minutes’ drive from Creel Lodge. The Tongariro National Park’s ski fields and walking trails are 40 minutes’ drive away. Large living room with separate bedroom. There was a well equipped, small kitchenette. A large, very clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. There were several facilities for fishermen. It was very pleasant to sit on the deck and watch the birds. It was a short walk to the river. There were laundry facilities on site. We loved the place.

Guests enjoy a children's playground and a games room. The owner was lovely and gave some good recommendations. Shower was amazing and the room had everything we needed for 1 night.

The place was big and tidy. There was a real attention to detail, you feel welcome. It's also perfectly located, only a few minutes away from the tourist info centre and supermarket.

The owner was very pleasant and we appreciate how we was able to accommodate a last minute request with our dates due to closure of the Tongariro Alpine crossing for a few days.
