The location is excellent, only a five minute walk to the thermal baths. The owners are the nicest people, and their dog Coffee is adorable. Breakfast was super tasty too. After spending the day in the thermal baths, sleeping with the sound of the river is so relaxing. Easily the best night we've had in our trip! ❤️

I was staying in a bamboo cabaña, which was very cozy and comfy. The bedsheets and blankets smelt like home! The bed was super comfortable. Claudia was just the best host ever! Always there to offer advice and whatever else you needed. If you’re trying to escape from busy hostels but still meet some nice people, that’s your place! It’s located very close to the main square but far away from roads. After over a month of travelling in Colombia that was actually the first place when I had a really good sleep with no need of using earplugs!

Rafael was an excellent host. The cabana on his property is entirely built from recycled materials and has a lot of character. He was extremely attentive, responsive, and friendly, and we joined his family for some Christmas celebrations down the hill. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed watching birds while eating breakfast on the balcony each morning (Andean Motmots, Tropical Screech Owls, and countless species of tanagers). Easy access to Otun Quimbaya. Others have noted that there was no hot water, but the shower works fine, it just requires a little finesse.

Wow - what an incredible place! This was not on our essential Colombia itinerary but I recommend you add it to yours - we will moving forward. We honestly ended up here because we had an extra day before we had to be back in Medellin from Salento and I'm so happy we did. It's in the most incredible national park and it is truly an experience. The thermal pools are incredible and I do recommend taking a dip in the thermal river here! Just stunning and so relaxing. I will say it was a bit pricey to get there via cab. I think we paid 300,000 COP from Salento (not bad for two hours, but definitely more than we were used to on a backpacker budget). I just say that to prepare you for it or to give you time to try and figure out another method if budget is important. BUT for the rate of the room, access to the pools and also all the food that was included - the rate we paid to stay here was incredible! Also the food was fantastic! Finally - the journey there is really stunning!
