Everything ! The bed was very comfortable, the owner are very nice. The place is quiet and you can see fireflies at night. The bungalow is well built with nice materials. The view on the rice fields is amazing. They have only 2 bungalows. One has the balcony directly on the rice fields and the other one is on the side (still very nice), this is great as you don't see anyone from your balcony, very private :)

I just stayed at Astha Bamboo House in Sidemen, Bali, and wow—what a gem! This eco-friendly bamboo villa is pure magic, tucked away in lush rice fields with Mount Agung views. The private one-bedroom villa was cozy yet airy, with a comfy king bed, hot shower, and poolside table perfect for morning coffee. The heated pool and hot spring bath were heavenly after trekking nearby trails. Breakfast was fresh and delicious—think tropical fruits and Balinese pancakes. We even got a complimentary floating breakfast. The hosts were so warm, and the vibe was peaceful, far from Bali’s hustle. Only tip: rent a scooter for exploring. Stayed 2 nights in September 2025, would return in a heartbeat!

The place is very very beautiful and the view of the area is magical, especially from the tree house! The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The net around the bed is a huge plus. There are no words to describe how accommodating and helpful the staff was. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, they welcomed us very warmly and took very good care of us, always with a smile. These genuine and positive people made us feel very special and welcomed and made our stay amazing. Although the place and the view are stunning, the heart of Gladak di Uma is its wonderful staff! We had an amazing time staying with Komang and his family, they were so welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and got to experience real Balinese culture way more than anywhere else we’ve been in Bali. They always gave us tea coffee drinking water and fruit free of charge. Komang showed us around the area including his farm which was beautiful and has an amazing view of the rice terraces. We also did a cooking class with them one evening which was great. Hot shower was a very nice surprise!

It’s stunning. Paradise away from the city center. Surrounded with the beautiful rice fields. Rooms are surprisingly spacious and interior design of the overall property was beyond my expectations. The pictures do not really show the true beauty of this property.

We had a short but very nice and relaxing stay in this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, the nature around makes it very special. The rooms are very spacious, antique style. The breakfast option was very wide, the best thing is that you can order it to your room and enjoy it from the terrace. The staff were very kind and always helpful. We really liked this place.

We stayed here one night as our boat to the Gili Islands got cancelled and were very happy with our stay. The price/quality ratio is really amazing. You get your own Bungalow with a big adjacent bathroom and even an exterior shower. The Gardens are beautiful and well upkept, the big Pool is very enjoyable. The staff is very Sweet and Serves a great breakfast.
