I loved the beautiful hot spring baths and lovely big room with sea views. Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable and service was fantastic. We found this place very relaxing. The meals were delicious and we looked forward to the wonderful menu each morning and night. The seafood was a highlight. The staff were very long, helpful and accomodating of our limited Japanese. The shuttle service was very helpful also to the train station from which you can travel to other towns along the peninsular. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. We appreciate all the care and attention during our stay.

Best of the best, the food and service are awesome, and the hot spring has great view facing the ocean. Staff from hotel are all friendly, the shuttle bus service to train station is sweet! Wanna especially express gratitude to Mr. Endou (遠藤) who helped a lot in dinner and breakfast!

Beautiful place inside out! Very nice and accommodating owner welcomed us with smile. Good location with groceries stores nearby. Spacious rooms with living area & super clean place and comfortable beds. We definitely coming back here again rather than staying in busy town in Shimoda.

We are family of three, going to Kawazu during Cherry blossum festival in February. The location is not too far from the train station and literally beside the beach. The place was also not far from the starting point of the cherry blossum walk (3km along the waterway). They sent us a message beforehand that they have no staff who could speak English, but that was not quite a obstacle while we were there as they were all trying in their own way (translator, leaflet in English, simple vocab). They offered many amneties (toothbrush and paste, comb, razor, yukata as pajamas). The meal were like a banquet. We stayed for 2 nights and the meal were differed for each night, as well as breakfast. Drinks (beer Nd coffee) were offered at the designated time together with snack. Would recommend to anyone who going to visit Kawazu.

Staff were amazingly hospitable, the private onsen attached to our room was beautiful with an amazing ocean view. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to see what a quiet Japanese town is like bby the seaside while still getting an amazing luxury experience.
