Thanks to her and the whole team, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. The room with a private onsen and sauna was absolutely incredible, offering stunning views that made the experience even more special. The traditional dinners and breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful—each meal was a true feast, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The area around the ryokan is also beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a walk or simply to relax and take in the atmosphere. We also really appreciated the convenient shuttle service to and from Kagaonsen Station—it made the logistics of getting there effortless. We wholeheartedly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and luxurious Japanese experience

The welcome is super friendly and they arrange you stuff in the room. The room itself is very spacious and the beds are made when you have dinner. Make sure to be early so you can also enjoy the hot springs but also walk around. Dinner was a feast and definitely full , same for the breakfast. You can wear the yukata at dinner and breakfast.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The baths were stunning and really clean. We particularly enjoyed the rock bath. It is about a 25min taxi ride to most of the sights and attractions in Kanazawa. That didn’t bother us because really enjoyed the serene and private feel of being further from the city, but something to keep in mind. Also, I was blown away by the meals and by how fresh all of the food was. If staying here, definitely attend the breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. It almost had the feel of a Michelin star restaurant.

The owner and team were so wonderful and looked after us beautifully. The suite itself was divine. Soaking in a cedar tub while looking at the forest floor is something we’ll never forget. The private dining room makes your stay feel even more exclusive. The food was truly out of this world. Our baby was catered for beautifully. We even had a large Moses basket in the dining room for her to rest. The area itself is very cool- there was an arts and crafts fair there when we stayed. There is a beautiful forest walk too. Can’t fault the stay and can’t wait to return one day.
