I got on the last train from Shinjuku to Hakone (Romanecar) and the last bus, and it was only a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The stop to get back to Hakone-Yumoto station is even more convenient, located right outside of the hotel.

Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. The room was spacious and luxurious with a traditional Japanese feel. The staff was really kind and helpful. We booked our stay with dinner and breakfast included and that was the best choice, both was delicious and a great experience. Both the public and private onsen experience was amazing. I would definitely book Mount View Hakone again the next time we come to Japan :)
