We selected the hotel because of baths on the top and location close to Toyosu fish market, where we won the lottery for early morning visit (5:30am) with a guide. Great choice, the hotel was really fantastic. We arrived before lunch and they stored our luggage, so we could return to explore Tokyo city center till late evening. We returned after 9pm, just in time for baths (free of charge), then relax with ice cream (free of charge) and late evening ramen in restaurant (also free of charge). All this was very nice. Hotel is very clean, rooms perfectly prepared for us, with all what is required for a great stay. Excellent view from the room and also from the baths, especially after sunset, with all the lights of Tokyo, the bridge. The hotel 5 minutes walk from the train station and surrounding area is also nice and clean. The price we paid for all this I conciser as accurate, good value for money and if I will come to Tokyo in future, this is the hotel I will return to.

Room in the cabin is so spacious, and not just a normal pod or capsule bed. I wish I had stayed longer! Onsen was awesome, so relaxing. Location was great too. I got on the last train from Shinjuku to Hakone (Romanecar) and the last bus, and it was only a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The stop to get back to Hakone-Yumoto station is even more convenient, located right outside of the hotel.

It was clean, safe and quiet. There is a kitchen so you can eat your meals at the guesthouse and don’t need to worry about finding food. They offer a shuttle to the nearest station and museum which was a great help as the guesthouse is a bit secluded in a quiet neighborhood. There are hiking trails nearby and would love to visit again and explore more of the area around the guesthouse.

All you can drink and eat buffee was value for the money. Yukatas etc. Clothing in multiple sizes.

Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The view is great. A very pleasant stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone. Breakfast was the best buffet we had in our whole trip. French toast are the best we’ve ever had! Bus stop to go around the area is right at the entrance to the hotel.

Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. It was a superb experience, exceeding any of our expectations. The room offered a sight into a traditional Japanese room, and it was equipped with kimono and other amenities to further make this experience more memorable. I would really recommend the dinner, with a lot of tasty, traditional Japanese dishes. The onsen was another strong point, perfect for taking a few relaxing hours amidst the crazy amount of walks of the last days. Also, the quality of service is something that stood out.
