Free ice cream is available in the afternoon until midnight, a nice snack that goes along with the relaxing bath after walking all day. A late night snack is also offered at the restaurant after 9pm. I am happy I decided to stay for more than one night, it gives you the time to visit Nara and also enjoy the benefits of booking the stay at an onsen.

The property itself is very well maintained, truly delivers the classic ryokan experience, onsen are amazing and very enjoyable, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was something else - both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were delicious, filling and a great pleasure to partake in. Overall, would highly recommend, I had a blast staying at Kadojin.
